This week started out with temps in the mid 80's and lovely fall nights, and even yesterday we were selling honey and granola at a farmer's market. This morning we awoke to snow falling gently, and the kids were thrilled. The cold weather suits me just fine. We are spending the day baking whole wheat bread, and there is a pot of chicken noodle soup on the stove for lunch. I'm so thankful we had our
own chickens this year, and
home-made broth too.
To celebrate the first dusting of snow. We had sugar dusted funnel cakes for breakfast: (thanks to my mom!):
