Blessings numbering 205-228:
October 2: 3 gifts falling
falling leaves
scales falling from my eyes
grandma wasn't hurt when she fell
October 3: A gift caught, let go, mid-way
Caught a glimpse of heaven (reading Pilgrim's Progress with the kids)
Let go of the hectic and choosing to stay home all day
Mid-way through sorting our fall clothes. SO thankful for hand-me-downs (or as Mayda says "Handy-downs")
Acorn squash, tomatoes, and lettuce from my garden, before the frost!
October 5: 3 gifts returned
returned a favor to a friend, returned to my Bible reading plan, returned home to a cozy night
October 6: 3 gifts redeemed
Awoke to snow, no farmer's market, a day redeemed
Attended the funeral of a dear saint, her life was redeemed!
Shared a meal with friends, an evening redeemed.
October 7: Baked, shared, eaten
Baked whole wheat bread, shared at the church dinner, eaten all the other dishes shared. What a blessed fellowship!
October 8: 3 gifts prayed for
Healing, Wisdom, Peace
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
… they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress…Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!..~Psalm 107 ESV
